Anatomy Study – Female Form.

So – finally a new human sculpt – and this time a nude. Basically, the biggest problems I have had so far is anatomy and correct positioning. With miniatures that are under 3cm in height, being 1mm off when positioning the armature can alread make the final sculpt look wrong. Previously I have used baggy clothing to hide such errors. But now I am forcing myself to work on the underlying anatomy. Without ‘dressing’ her, I think this miniature would make a good druidess maybe with just the addition of a couple of small woodland creatures. She measures 26mm foot to eye.

Endlich wieder eine neue Skulptur eines Menschen. Bis jetzt das größte Problem, das ich beim modellieren hatte, war die korrekte Anatomie und Positionierung des ‘Skeletts’ aus Draht. Besonders bei Miniaturen die unter 3cm groß sind, sind Fehlpositionierung von sogar nur 1mm schon ein großes Problem. Bisher habe ich versucht solche Probleme zu verbergen mit Kleidung. Aber jetzt zwinge ich mich, die zugrunde liegende Anatomie zu lernen. Ohne sie zu “kleiden”, denke ich, dass diese Miniatur eine gute Druidin abgeben würde. Von Fuß bis Auge misst sie 26mm.
