Anglo-Saxon Swords

Here is a great video from The British Museum looking at early Anglo-Saxon swords. I had never heard of the little rings attached to the swords before and what they might represent. I also like the idea of the rune added to the sword (it doesn’t take much research to be able to come up with lots of information on the Rune Poem mentioned). This inspires me for both my Dark Ages and fantasy miniatures…
